Wæm Èl Wæb (/ɤl/ /wæb/ [specific; definite; particular] [knee]) is a subtropical Town located in Yuqlǐki Zone, If-70cqǐnrì District, within the Federation of Alveria.

The name Wæm Èl Wæb is derived from the Constructi language, as Wæm Èl Wæb was founded by Hn-5x 'B.E.N.' Tshënkê, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Wæm Èl Wæb has a yearly average temperature of 18°C (64°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 22°C (71°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 14°C (57°F). Wæm Èl Wæb receives an average of 249 cm/y (98 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Wæm Èl Wæb covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 2728 m (8950 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Wæm Èl Wæb was founded durring the late 12th century in summer of the year 1091, by Hn-5x 'B.E.N.' Tshënkê. The establishment of Wæm Èl Wæb suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Wæm Èl Wæb which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Wæm Èl Wæb was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Wæm Èl Wæb is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Wæm Èl Wæb is buildings are arranged arround a network of broad carved bedrock streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Wæm Èl Wæb's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. The monster and outlaw focused fortifications have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

Right off the bat Wæm Èl Wæb hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. It’s easy to see where their wealth comes from the more you look arround. Every aspect of the town has been developed with care and great thought. The people themselves act deliberately and with care in even the simplest of daily actions.

Civic Infrastructure

Wæm Èl Wæb has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Wæm Èl Wæb.

Wæm Èl Wæb has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.

Wæm Èl Wæb has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Wæm Èl Wæb has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Wæm Èl Wæb's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Wæm Èl Wæb has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Wæm Èl Wæb has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Wæm Èl Wæb's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.

In Wæm Èl Wæb every night at precisely midnight every structure in town is engulfed by sailors fire until the end of the witching hour.
